West MI JASON Project and MountainTop Adventures brings this unique opportunity to connect your students with school children living in the West Bank area, like Bethlehem, Beit Jala and Beit Sahour.   Erich Strehl of MountainTop Adventures is currently living in this area and able to make this a reality.

While your students study JASON materials and the search for life in extreme places, like the desert, they can learn about REAL children living in desert regions right here on planet Earth!   We would even like your students to become pen pals with these children half a planet away.   Ask them what their life is like?   What are the natural obstacles & hardships to living in a desert?   What are the social & political challenges that we humans add to the problem?

There are a lot of difficulties for children in this region of the world.   This is a unique opportunity to have your students connect, share, learn and grow with them.
